Use srand only ONCE!

My program was having an odd behavior of not being very random when I called a function more than once. It turned out that I called srand every time that function was called. srand is only to be called once, so  I moved it into my main function.

All possible permutations of a byte long hex number.

I couldn't find a readily made array of all possible hex numbers in a byte, so here it is:

Where is that CSS class? Drupal 7

When looking for a css class name on a Drupal 7 website, I couldn't find it in its regular spot within the Drupal directory. After some searching I found that someone had placed their CSS code within the block body. The block body shows up when creating manual block content.

Drupal 7 and jQuery

Today I ran into a problem while using Drupal 7. Whenever I would try to edit a view option, the screen would black out, but I wouldn't get the pop up to edit the desired field. After some googling around I couldn't find anything. I then decided to use the inspect element command to see what was up. I found a javascript error and then googled it. Apparently, it had to do with jQuery versioning issues. Sure enough, the jQuery Update module had been enabled. To get around this problem, I went to the configuration menu to configure jQuery. I set the default to the latest version and the alternate to the version for admin pages to what we usually use. This solved the problem.
